Beginning Friday, June 10, 2022, we will have separate office and contact hours to minimize price increases of our services.

These hours are related to when our physical office will be open and available for order pick-ups.

Why are we changing our hours?

In the newsletter, I opted for a concise message in hopes of quickly providing information. I understand it was void of any real explanation or reasoning. The thought process was that most people don’t want to read a “wall of text” and those who were curious can click to learn more.

We’ve actually been considering this change since the beginning of the year for several reasons but local and world events have only caused us to accelerate plans. In fact, when reviewing our production times for the print department we have historically printed 4 out of 5 days a week, with the majority of that time being Monday - Thursday. In addition, emails and phone calls typically arrive between 9:30a - 3:45p. There are obviously outliers but we handle those case by case.

While I admit the way the email was written sounded a bit self-serving the core reason for us changing hours was to become more efficient and productive on projects. On the other hand, I do care deeply about my team and am grateful that Third Angle has such extremely talented people. As a result, I am doing everything I can to help reassure them that I am looking out for their well-being. So yes, part of the decision was self-serving.

However, we have always been client-focused and are doing what we can to curb price increases and longer production times due to supply chain issues and inflation.

To be fully transparent, our team will still work our previously stated hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, but by limiting the contact hours to 9:00 am through 4:00 pm my team has a full hour to properly get production rolling on projects and then prep for the next day’s projects. If our production schedule calls for someone to be available at our office on Fridays then someone will do so.

As we have previously stated this post-pandemic world has become one that calls for flexibility and understanding. So I ask that of you and your team for just that.
