Did you know 90.63%* of websites get no organic search traffic from Google? Why? Because their SEO sucks. But what is SEO in the first place?

Also known as Search Engine Optimization, SEO is the process of optimizing your website to be more readable, accessible, and overall more crawlable to search engines.

SEO works by telling search engines that your web page is the best result for the topic searched. And all of that is done by editing the content and code on your web page so it can be easily understood by the search engine bots.

But being relevant only gets you halfway there. The other side of SEO is showing search engines you are the best, trusted source for your topic by having other web pages link back to yours.

This process works because search engines all have the same goal: To show the best, most relevant results.

SEO is a broad topic, and these are only two examples of the optimization process. In short, Search Engine Optimization is all about making your website rank better in search engines. If you have any questions about how to optimize your website then reach out today, we’re here to help.
